The magazine that i have created is in some ways similar to the mags that i havce chosen to base my own around. Magazines like 'Q' and 'NME' both are not specified to one particular genre of music just like mine, however they do not go to the extremes that i do in the sense that i go from heavy metal and screamo to rap, hip hop and drum and bass. I believe that my magazine is differnt due to the fact that it is based around the teenagers of the UK.

Question 5: How did you attract/address your audience?
I feel that i attracted my audience through the fact that this magazine is not just specified at one particular genre of music. The magazine appeals to a wide range of teens because the magazine doesn't separate people by there musical tastes. Withe the front cover i tried to use very simple colours that stand out and are easy to see. the main colour theme was black, white and red in feel that these are very good colours because they all stand out when put together. my overall target audience was teens in the uk that enjoy luistening to all different types of music. the offer of a trip to Maida Vale should be a good selling point because any big music fan will want to have the chance to go to one of the best recording studios in the world.
